After many discussions with experts in the window industry, it was clearly understood that these window suppliers required a balance system that was superior to the spiral, tape, and block and tackle balancers currently used in windows. The window industry was asking for a balance system that was easier to assemble, install and adjust. The Easy Touch^TM Balance System was designed specifically to address these needs.

• if sash is removed, the shoes are automatically locked in placed until the sash is returned to its normal operating position
• long travel springs provide full sash travel for 100% egress, even with smaller windows (this is compared to the 88% limit inherent in most commonly used spiral, tape of block and tackle designs)
